This is the most important phase and one that organisations often miss. Innovation is strategic so it’s essential that we identify what type or types of innovation we need, how we will go about it, how we will measure it and the role of the facilitator
An Innovation Challenge challenge is a conversation that seeks to engage people in offering, collaborating on, qualifying and selecting ideas to; solve a problem, maximise an opportunity or get people aligned behind an initiative or event. We will give you two tools that can be used to identify challenges and one to help articulate them
We will teach you four tools to get divergent, creative and disruptive ideas; the Idea Bridge, Subtraction, Idea Hacking and Reverse Ideation. Ideas are the lifeblood of any organisation so we will spend time learning how best to use these tools
Converge is the process of going from potentially hundreds of ideas to a small number that we can assess further. We will teach you three tools to achieve this; the idea canvas, the assessment canvas and the idea elimination tool
The final stage in the Innovation Process is perhaps the most misunderstood and under exploited. We don’t truly know whether an idea isn’t a good idea until we’ve done some testing – we’ve got some evidence, and ideally we will have done that by creating some form of prototype so we can see how people respond to it
The training is either a 3 or 2 day event and can be customised to your particular need depending on the maturity of your innovation program and it comes with all the documentation that you need to make the most of training when you return to your organisation.
