I was shocked by the apparent disappearance of Malaysian Airlines MH370. In my humble opinion, they will never find the plane, and with it, the blackbox which should hold the key to understanding what happened.
One of the baffling things was that the transponder was turned off. Indeed, more baffling was that they were able to find more about the location of the airplane from mobile phone signals from the passengers that then on-board equipment.
Brilliant Idea #134 is to put the blackbox (or another blackbox) in the Cloud. In other words continually transmit the data that is being recorded in the blackbox via satellites into a secure place, presumably run by the Civil Aviation Authority.
